Oru Cinemaakkaran completes 50 days.. thanks to everyone who went and watched our film, shared their appreciation as well as criticism.. I ll definitely cherish the memories of working with such a sincere and hardworking crew.. Thank u Leo chetta for choosing me to play Alby Mathew.. LJ films has been an integral part of my career to such extent that it's like family now.. I was fortunate to work with some amazing producers this time.. Thanks to Thomas Ettan and the rest of the good men in the production department. Thanks to Jaiby, Umesh., Nikhil, Ubaini and the rest of the people in the direction, art and make up department for being such good people to work with.. I really hope we all would work together in the future.. Thanks to all my co-stars Rajisha, Vijay ettan, Renji uncle, Lal uncle, Prashanth ettan and all the others.. Thank you Laljose Lalu Etta for calling me to be a part of this film.. this film and the whole experience of being a part of it will stay close to me, always..

Confusions, rather than revelations, are awaiting the audience as Lal Jose opens the book of revelations. Confusion on what the filmmaker was aiming at – a typical superstar movie? A campus movie? A thriller? Or a mish-mash of it all to make some noise during the festival season? Confusion, on why the lead character is behaving the way he does, towards the end. What is served up as an explanation, a back story from his younger days, only adds to the confusion. Even the college campus, where much of the action happens in Velipadinte Pusthakam, has a confused existence. It is introduced to us as a present-day campus, but the happenings inside reminds us of the eighties or nineties.To this campus comes Michael Idikkula (Mohanlal), to take over as the Vice Principal, following the suspension of Prem Raj (Salim Kumar). It has action, comedy and drama and is substantiated with a decent plot. And what's more, you can lookout for those 3 renowned comrades who make a special appearance! The 134-minute long film starts off as a politically-charged movie taking cues from recent events but quickly develops into a coming-of-age tale of its protagonist Aji Mathew (Dulquer Salmaan).
